Steps to Reproduce
- Make a lobby of 2
- Have the host player die
- Proceed to next stage as the only alive client player
- Introduce small connection issues
- Load into new stage
- Client player experiences a small hitch and game is classified as a fail within first 5 seconds
Explanation
My teammate (host) was jailed by the worm, but I managed to successfully get to the elevator. When the next stage started I loaded a bit later than usual, and spawned mid air in elevator. Right after that before even the elevator touched the ground the mission failed despite me being alive and fine. I believe the system thought there was only 1 person in the game during that small hitch and since that person was dead it was game over. It was very disheartening to see my clutch go to waste. My game was modded at the time of crash with modified engine flags running through proton on linux but I believe non of these things caused this issue. I believe a small time buffer should be implemented just in case something like this happens.
