Damage Bonus Icon Disappears and Scrolls Negatively with Minigun

Steps to Reproduce

1. Acquired CQC protocol from an artifact
2. Worked as normal, showing 25% or more based on missing ammo
3. Swapped out my Hammer Caster for a minigun at a heavy weapon crate
4. Minigun had x2 magazine, giving it double the max ammo
5. Bug began as described above
6. Spent awhile firing my minigun and once I reached around 3900 of 6800 bullets the bonus reached 0% and then began going positive again
7. Was missing some ammo on the drills and some grenades
8. Did not get the chance to resupply as we hit a workbench where I swapped the gun out and the bonus returned to working as expected

Explanation

While using the CQC protocol, I noticed a bug occured after picking up the minigun with x2 magazine from a weapon crate. On the right side where the icon shows the current damage bonus, it disappeared entirely at first. As I began firing the minigun, text began to rapidly scroll starting at -75% and decreasing. Once it reached about -50% the icon reappeared and acted as normal, without the text scrolling.

I could not tell if this was purely a visual bug or if also was actually decreasing my melee damage. My teammate was rather strong so I couldn't test it much and I replaced the weapon at the next workbench.
