Steps to Reproduce
- Join the map Depth 01, complex 2, Salt Flats.
- Confirm that you were not the host of the map.
- Verify that the host reported no problems.
- Check that you were playing as the Falconeer class.
- Pick up the Thunderhead autocannon with +20% weakspot damage and 50% ricochet chance.
- Begin firing the Thunderhead autocannon.
- Observe the visual bug with excessive explosion particles.
- Note your PC specifications and graphic settings, including the use of an upscaler and frame generation.
- Confirm the use of AMD FidelityFX 3.1 'performance' upscaler.
- Verify that your graphics card is an NVIDIA card.
- List additional upgrades such as 'toxic burst on reload' and '+10% weakpoint damage when further than 10m', and melee upgrades.
- Check if the visual bug persisted through character getting downed, picking up '+50% ricochet chance' a second time at workbench, and changing window focus.
- Confirm that you connect and use only 1 monitor.
- Check if the log contains your monitor specifications.
Explanation
Occurs in some situations when you are not host. Visual bug of thunderhead autocannon with 50% ricochet putting the flame particle right on my own face, in my eyes. Thankfully, no self damage, just obscured visuals, and can still damage enemies (and allies), but I'm firing blind. Sorry this bug report is vague and no logs, I didn't consider bug report at first.
