Steps to Reproduce

1. Set random modifier mode on spawn.
2. Observe that equipment crates have the same upgrades as the first one.
3. Attempt to pick an upgrade but don't pick anything.
4. Put a plasma rifle on the first slot in the purple category and check that there are no upgrades.
