Steps to Reproduce

Open a workbench
Leave the workbench without upgrading anything
Open an equipment crate and get a new weapon
Come back to the workbench
The old weapon is still displaying rather than the new weapon that you had just acquired

Explanation

I was in the 3rd floor of a 6 floor run playing solo. I had a Heavy Equipment Crate on the level. The crate was far into the level so I found the workbench first. Hoping to upgrade the heavy weapon, I exited the workbench and found the crate. Upon returning to the workbench, the weapon I had dropped was still showing instead of the new weapon I had gotten so I was unable to upgrade it.
