Steps to Reproduce

1. Equipped thunderhead from heavy weapons crate.
2. Used work bench to upgrade thunderhead with + poison or corrosive damage.
3. Fired thunderhead and immediately had face explode.

Explanation

Thunderhead bullets will randomly explode at the front of the gun when firing, regardless of aim direction or direction of player movement.
