Upgrade Process Continues Despite Mission Abort

Steps to Reproduce

1. Loaded into Level 2 of a Depth 1 mission.
2. Triggered Upgrade Link progress bar
3. Clicked 'Abort Mission' in the ESC menu during the progress bar such that it completed before sending us back to the Ramrod

Explanation

Right after starting a new floor, I as host tried aborting the mission as an upgrade link was triggered. The upgrade process went through despite the abortion, and after it was finished all players lost HUD elements and access to our escape menus. Once I closed the game, other players were sent back to lobby.
