Explanation

Enemies were randomly walk into and attack you through the Gunner Shield. I have found no consistent way to make this happen - it's been happening since I first started playing. Sometimes enemies just aren't affected by the fear and don't back out of the bubble. Sometimes they just walk right in and start beating you. It doesn't happen with one enemy more than another. It just... happens sometimes.
