Steps to Reproduce
- Run Deep Rock Galactic: Rogue Core On linux Ubuntu (And possibly any other distribution of Linux, including SteamOS)
- Perform specific actions: Loading the game (after the cutscene), unlocking character upgrades, unlocking cosmetics, Swapping pickaxe parts, exiting the cosmetics menu, Exiting the pause menu After changing settings, ordering beer, Starting a mission, and Starting a boss fight. (This can also happen randomly during a mission)
- Watch as the game freezes for a A few seconds and continues as normal afterwards
Explanation
Ever since I've gotten Rogue Core a few days ago, there have been a particular bug that's been irritating me. Every time I do one of a few specific actions, the game freezes for about a minute. Some of these actions include: Changing pickaxe parts, Starting a mission, Collecting cosmetics, Starting a boss fight , And worst of all, ordering beer.
I should probably note that I play on Linux to escape the bloat that is Windows, specifically Ubuntu. Trying to play it on my second drive, which has Windows, works completely fine and doesn't have the issue. For most people They'd probably turn away with this bug report, but this issue could also be happening on Steam Decks and Steam Machines due to them also running Linux. Otherwise, I don't have any more information on this bug.
