Steps to Reproduce

1. I believe the cause of this was from quitting the game from the menu
2. while I was in the middle of a run last time I had the game running

Explanation

On the main menu, after I hit the "continue" button, the game freezes on a black screen. I have been completely unable to play the game since, even after uninstalling/reinstalling and restarting my pc.
