Steps to Reproduce

1. Wait until you're just spawning into the entrance elevator at the start of a level
2. Change graphics settings such as reflection quality and effects (in my case, ultra -> high for both)
3. Alt-tab to a different window

Explanation

Game unrecoverably froze when alt-tabbing during the level load/elevator descent sequence going into level 5 of a facility. I had just changed some graphics settings and alt-tabbed to see how they affected my GPU temps, and upon returning to the game, it froze. I had to kill it with Task Manager when it didn't respond. This was in Solo mode.
