Steps to Reproduce
- Abandoning the first game just to make this garbage is absolutely absurd.
- Most of the art assets are directly ripped from the first game, and they still have the nerve to pull this insane pricing.
- The gameplay is also absurd. It completely lost that cooperative, everyone-wins vibe from the first game — now it's just snatching buffs from teammates, where whoever gets lucky has fun while the other three sit there suffering.
- Splitting classes and weapons killed any interesting synergy.
- Competing with teammates for upgrades is a design choice no sane human would come up with.
- A single dive taking 40+ minutes is pure torture. Losing one person late game basically means the run is instantly f*****.
- The dwarves are ugly beyond belief. The first game's dwarves were already ugly enough, but somehow the sequel manages to be even uglier, and more DEI-infected too.
- The amount of content is pathetically low. Oh, you say it's early access? Last time I checked, you're not charging early access prices.
- And the multiplayer system — restricting mid-join so you have to wait for a full squad of 4 to start, but given the game's quality and the length of a single session, finding 4 randoms will quickly become nearly impossible.
- And the difficulty — is this made for immortals or something? Difficulty 1 feels harder than a Deep Dive. The final boss took all four of us dumping our entire ammo, then we had to chip away with pickaxes for an eternity just to barely kill it.
- Utterly f****** disappointed. Management are brain-dead idiots.
