Boss Gains Invulnerability After Shield Destruction

Steps to Reproduce

1. I used the spotters crit-dart and shot the eye-thing for bonus damage.
2. My teammate used their falcon
3. We destroyed the shield
4. The boss became immune to all damage without an indication to breach said immunity

Explanation

I was doing the first mission, and got to the point where you fight the 4-legged boss. However, after having destroyed the shield it achieved complete and utter invulnerability, with nothing telling me how to get rid of it. At first I though I was missing a game mechanic, but eventually i figured that it's bugged. The way I destroyed the shield was by using the spotters crit-dart, together with a standard burst pistol with several crit-based augments. My teammate was a falconer.
