Steps to Reproduce

1. I was abandoning a mission to play with a friend.
2. While abandoning, my character Ellis was giving me an upgrade.
3. The screen popped up after I clicked 'abandoned'.
4. It allowed me to select an upgrade.
5. The game kept me in the area.
6. I was forced to use Alt + F4 because the Esc menu wasn't popping up anymore, nor the HUD.
