UI Freeze Post-Upgrade Selection

Steps to Reproduce

1. Acquire enough Expenite to trigger an automatic upgrade
2. Choose any card option from the selection
3. Observe the UI immediately after selecting any option - note that the UI just'sits' there briefly before closing the modal

Explanation

After choosing an upgrade, there's a short UI freeze for about 1.5 second after clicking the card. Remove this unneecessary UI delay to improve overall gameplay smoothness.
