Steps to Reproduce

See above. Same issues presented during tutorial, and continued into one mission.
Was enough of an issue to make it unplayable as there's no way to progress through the things you need to, grab ammo to survive, etc.
Excited to play but this needs fixed, not everyone is playing on mouse and keyboard.
Connected mouse and keyboard mid-game to try to address this, but unscreen prompts still didn't show up.

Explanation

Tried playing a mission, using Xbox controller on Steam Deck (OLED). Can't interact with/use things/equipment. Cant have ellis open the weapons locker, can't open ammo crate or grab ammo, cant start events, couldnt interact with workbench. Was able to do bio-booster. All of this was with swapped bindings: X/Y, A/B, LB/RB. Onscreen prompts did not appear ('press X to open', etc).
