Shield Generator Not Fully Protecting from Attacks

Steps to Reproduce

1. Get shield generator gear and stand anywhere near the edge of the shield and notice yourself still getting hit
2. Place a shield when bosses shoot a slow homing projectile and watch it pass straight through as if there was no shield

Explanation

Shield generator isn't fully protecting from enemies. I keep getting hit by them with melee and explosions through the shield. Additionally, boss abilities that shoot a large projectile just pass straight through the shield as if it isn't there.
