Explanation
When paused in solo/single player and tabbed out for long periods of time. Usually at least a couple of minutes. The game stutters and freezes for a while. Between 10-30 seconds, seems to help to tab out and back in. However it continues to stutter a bit as it catches up. Can't tell why otherwise.
