You have to have an active link on your target before you can use either mantras

You just hover your mouse over your target and press the keybind for linking onto them. If you're unsure what keybind it is then you'll have to check the keybinds in the settings

ive tried and i have been using the keybind but it takes my weapon out like its gonna work but it doesnt oculd someone maybe like watch me stream and try to help rq?
