Explanation
Almost wiped to the ethiron spears on my way to getting to the library, just because I was holding out my rapier while running. Is this how big your hitbox is if you're using long weapons that stretch out? We thought this got fixed.

even before i moved to get closer it already did the sound
some interactions are based on your the hitbox of your weaopn no idea if this one is intended or not
i thought they already fixed them hitboxes being extended through weapons? Legit never touched any of the spear areas and was just getting bombarded with them ain't fair just cause I'm using something that extends my hitbox like that

cuz you know, getting hit on a weapon part hurts as bad as getting pierced through your arm or something

Wasn't it just fixed since the hitbox of your spear was an issue like 2-3 weeks ago? or are we all forgetting that

⚖️ The hitbox for rectangular hitbox weapons (e.g. spears) has been adjusted. Of the 2 hitboxes, the second is now slightly longer and slightly thinner. This should help keep the attack ranges consistent with spherical hitbox weapons and also reduce the 'phantom range' effect sometimes experienced
so basically with this update, what I understood was:
You can basically m1 or hit mantras on weapon edges/points, and you still damage them even if it should have not connected. If let's say someone hit a bullet on the point of my rapier here (which now has****box) it will damage me, even when the bullet m1s are too thin and mostly misses

IK the point of the update balancing was that they reduced the phantom range when the long weapons are ATTACKING, but why are they getting nerfed for having longer reach when enemies should be going near that long weapon attacker
you're basically just handing out your hitbox to your attackers if you're using something that extends your attack
one of the reasons people use spears is to gain attack range, so they get to safely do damage and pressure and the enemy has to go near to strike back. Why do they get to hit the edge of a weapon and still hit your body for some reason
and this is on a rapier btw, which extends to your right, so basically you are wider and more open without the benefit of having longer attack range
idk maybe im just bugging myself out for something that no one uses
