been a thing since the movement overhaul
maybe could be fixed by making it stronger while not touching the ground

it has nothing to do with fps i think bloodless - 165 no jump blue - 60 no jump wind - 60 jump
fps might affect some movement did gale lunge as you drew and it sent me about the same distance (im on 60 fps)
gale lunge is less effective in the air so it makes you go less further
like if you do gale lunge --> travel for about 20% of it, then jump it goes about the same distance
before they remade the movement controller jumping in gale lunge made no difference
its just less effective in the air for no reason

I could give you a fake comforting explanation about how things in the air don't slide because they aren't on the ground
