Explanation
I put in my mantle thinking I'm gonna mask this with something else but on second thought. I liked to mantle style so i used a helmet then the artisan said something like "no no helmet bad item." them gave back the helmet but not the mantle What the heck i want my mantle back!!!

You can't mix a torso equipment with a head one, btw I'm pretty sure you just needed to tell him that you changed of idea and he gives you your items back.
