Explanation
It doesnt scale with anything and neither does it add +3 phys before or after scaling. It adds +2 phys to your equipment and THEN all ur phys gets scaled down by your armor which is kinda weird. Here i got a vigil sentinel with a godroll enmity kit and confessors charm. Adding up all the phys from equipment it comes out to 35. Multiplied with the reduction from vigil sentinel it comes out to 24.5. Along with my outfit that would come out to 54.5 without the armor talents. Now if u added the armor talent phys wether it was scaled with your outfit or not it wouldnt come out to 55.9. If u were to add it to your equipments phys before scaling youd get 38x0.7= 26.6 which would be too much. If u scaled it twice it would also come out wrong 35+ (3x0.7)=37.1 | 37.1x0.7 = 25.97 (55.97 in total) so now its close to what were actually getting cuz its close to 2. Now if we do the same thing with cerulean gown which has 20% phys so 35+(3x0.8)=37.4 | 37.4x0.8=29.92 (49.92) in total so WAY off just to prove its not rounding. Now if u did both these with just +2 flat phys added you would get 37x0.7=25.9 (55.9 in total) for the black diver and 37x 0.8=29.6 (49.6 in total) for the cerulean gown. SO EITHER IT ADDS+2 OR scales of something completely different that im totally unaware off that makes it come out to 2 on all my builds
Watchers
Please some1 confirm and pls dont tell me i missed something hella obvious
tldr man, resists get multiplied by your outfit not added as a flat %
but they dont
it always +2% before scaling no matter what outfit u use
i tested it on a couple others 2
did u read it all the way thru cuz that doesnt explain y its like dat
i mea i did state too long did not read, but also went in game to check with 28% from equips, 25% from outfit and the natural armor talents, the result is 47.6 what is exactly what should be with the mutiplicative rule TotalResistance = 1 - (1 - 0.25) * (1 - 0.28) * (1 - 0.03) TotalResistance = 1 - (0.75 * 0.72 * 0.97) TotalResistance = 1 - 0.5244 TotalResistance = 0.4756 # ≈ 47.6% total resistance
hmm ig it was coincidence that it came out exactly correct for me then
do u still have a***
shut up bug farmer.
alr ig i got extremely lucky (or unlucky) then looks like it was js chance or i just used the wrong formula
yeah with ur outfit and equipment my way comes out wrong
R1 = 0.30 R2 = 0.28 R3 = 0.03 TotalResistance = 1 - ((1 - R1) * (1 - R2) * (1 - R3))
r1 is outfit, r2 equips and r3 nat armor talents
alr thx ill keep dat in mind
its always +2%
the guy just proved me wrong and u say dat
he tried to delete the message
(unknown user mentioned) we saw it bro
too late
bro i dotn want to argue with level 1000 bug yappers
IM SORRY IM JS NOT IN THE MOOD TO PROVE A POINT 😭
then y did u say anything
man, i just gave a math formula and game evidence, is it even possible to argue against that
Ye but its wrong
but it aint
Because i always remember js getting a flat 2 or 3% everytime i pick the 2 talents after pwr 20
Unless thats ur point then its right
well it looks like dat cuz of rounding
which is why i tried to prove its not rounding but i did the wrong fkn formula so
wait I remember having 12.7% phys instead of 12 with the 2 talents
so your argument is that evidence taken directly from the game with a math formula that backs it up and is also correct with the in game numbers is wrong because your memory makes you think it is? or is there any evidence at all
and going from 47.9 to 49.9
please do not bypass blacklisted words
ok bro ur right its all good
mb force of habit
my bad bro i shouldnt have doubted you.
