Explanation
The Starter Weapon "Silversix" on void glutton isn't named properly which causes the game to be confused and make this weapon unusable until you pick the other light weapon and makes it a placeholder.
In Pathfinder gamemode, the bug doesn't happen due of it being properly named (Silversix instead of "Silver Six" as attached in another screenshot)
