From what I've been experiencing and apparently other people too, hitstun can straight up void itself, either nullifying the incoming attacks****box (but not interrupting it), or doing absolutely nothing
E.T:
M1/Mantra countered by faster attack (no hyperarmor) -> swing has it's****box nullified, seemingly working as intended, then hitstun duration ends, and the attack goes through as it was never interrupted but rathered just temporarily voided
This has been an issue for a bit now, unsure if it came from the deep-healing update or has existed prior but to a lesser degree
HITSTUN DOES NOT INTERRUPT ATTACKS, AS OF RECENTLY IT ONLY NULLIFIES THE HITBOX BUT DOES NOT PREVENT THE HITBOX FROM OCCURING
