Explanation

Frost Grab (and probably a few other mantras that make the player invisible) removes equipment particles when the player reappears. By equipment particles I mean stuff like Thrall of Enmity, Bloodforged Crown, Whistling Pariapt, etc.

Toggling the vanity of these items does not restore the particles, but re-equipping them does.
