Explanation

I am having an issue where the pencil deducts lives intermittently. Sometimes the pencil tool works as intended but very often it will deduct lives even when you are in note taking mode. Sometimes toggling the switch on and off will fix it but because the sound is the note taking sound and the number is the normal note tiny number, it is impossible to know when the issue is occurring until you lose a life. Sometimes lives will go from 4 to 0 or 2 to 0 when this glitch occurs.

Video recording provided. I am willing to provide logging information if needed for further review.
