Explanation
After my first purchase with the yellow shards that I earned from completing challenges (spending 80 shards, I think) I watched the counter on the shards deplete all of the shards I had collected (roughly 200). Then, I progressed to the point where I am at the stage of creating and then depositing the yellow data shards. I first had a transporter deposit as they were created, but after 2 hours of gameplay I noticed that the counter was at only 8 shards. After futher investigating, I held shards in storage units until I made about 100. When they were sent to the deposit hub I watched the counter go up to fifteen yellow shards and then immediately go back to zero and bounce back to four and then to zero. I lost all of the yellow shards. At this time, I will leave them in the storage units for fear of losing out on more shards - and time. But, I cannot progress any further if the game is eating the shards. The deposit hub shows that I have deposited over 200 shards - and I have not spent any since I started on this track. Also, I should state that I LOVE this game and already have over 60 hours since the release! I did try exiting the game and restarting. Thanks for your hard work on this game!
