Exhaustion Applied While Inside Locker Despite Head On

Status: Open
Priority:
High

Reported for:
Actual Result:
Survivor becomes Exhausted while inside a locker when Rabbit Remains is equipped and the Killer’s Upside Down / Undergate AoE occurs nearby. This can disable Head On with no counterplay while hidden. Timing/trigger does not match the add-on description consistently.
Expected Result:
Exhausted should only apply when the Survivor is standing in or entering the Undergate’s attack radius as described, and/or only when the AoE is actually active. Survivors already inside lockers should not be valid targets for the effect (or the behavior should be consistent with the description).
Severity:
Major
Reproducibility:
Always
Platform:
Steam
Additional Notes & Comments:
Technical suspicion (for investigation, not a definitive cause): The Exhausted application may be using a broad AoE overlap / query that does not exclude locker occupants (e.g., applies to the Survivor actor regardless of locker state). Potential missing filters: “IsInLocker / IsConcealed / IsInHideInteraction” checks, or missing “valid target” gating when applying the status effect. Possible timing issue: the add-on may apply Exhausted on entering the Upside Down / starting the Undergate return rather than strictly “standing in/entering the Undergate attack radius”, making the perceived window inconsistent. If the query uses collision channels (e.g., Pawn overlap), lockers may not block/affect targeting unless explicitly excluded. Impact: removes counterplay by disabling Head On while the Survivor is already hiding.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Play Survivor and equip Head On (to make the issue clearly observable).
  2. Load into a match versus Test Subject #001 using the add-on Rabbit Remains.
  3. Enter a locker and remain fully inside (do not exit).
  4. Have the Killer approach in Upside Down and/or perform the Undergate return/attack AoE near the locker
  5. Observe Exhausted is applied while still inside the locker, preventing Head On or any other exaustion activation.

Explanation

Rabbit Remains (Test Subject #001 / Vecna) applies Exhausted to Survivors while inside a locker (disables Head On). Trigger/timing also feels inconsistent.
I was fully inside a locker when the Killer used/returned with the Upside Down / Undergate AoE nearby, and I received Exhausted without leaving the locker.
Not sure if already reported... posting in case this is a regression.
