Explanation

Exiting through the gate doesn't count. The survivor can move freely inside the tunnel. (PTB 9.5.0)

In the final stage of the game, when the exit gate is open, there is a barrier that Killers cannot cross, but Survivors can. The Entity blocks the Killers' exit from the trial. However, one Survivor does not leave the match, but moves freely behind the barrier. After reaching the end of the tunnel and reaching the bonfire, the Survivor encounters a chasm. Jumping into the chasm teleports the Survivor to the beginning of the gate.
