| Additional Notes & Comments: |
I've found threads of this issue on the bhvr forums that date back to 2020 with no fix given except to "reinstall the controller drivers", which does not in fact fix the issue. Other games are NOT affected by this, it's dbd specific. Summary: With a controller plugged in, after loading into a public or custom match, either the mouse will not move the camera at all (but mouse cursor works fine in pause menu), or on the contrary mouse and keyboard movement will work fine whereas controller input will be entirely ignored (except in pause menu). Enabling or disabling Steam Input, using emulators for controller or messing with controller deadzones did not resolve the problem.

Steps to Reproduce
- Play a match with controller (my specific controller is a Gamesir Supernova),
- observe that it doesn't let you move the camera in-game using the mouse even though it works fine in the pause menu if you press Start or Esc.
- On the contrary, it can sometimes happen that mouse and keyboard work in-game but controller input has 0 effects outside of the pause menu
Explanation
Controller plugged in on pc can break the game's inputs entirely.
