- Try to draw a patrol path down some stairs
Explanation
Knight's patrol path drawing can get stuck when going down some staircases. This is very inconsistent and sometimes the same staircase will block or not block the patrol path.

It mainly happens if you happen to strafe while drawing the path. This has been reported several times in different maps in different tiles on the old bug reports.
