Steps to Reproduce

  1. It seems completely random unfortunately.
  2. Sometimes I will get it 3 times a game, other times only 3 times a week.
  3. It does however seem to happen more commonly at pallets.
  4. I went to this exact loop on Midwich when this first happened to see if I maybe hit the wall behind it and just the collision cloud was bugged.
  5. You cannot actually reach this wall from that position since Xenomorph's tail is only 4.8 meters.

Explanation

Xenomorph has a MAJOR bug where sometimes when shooting the tail over objects, sometimes the tail will connect with thin air. There doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason for it, my best guess is desync. However, sometimes, despite being high above an object, the tail will connect with the air like it was solid. Futhermore, like you will see in this clip, a lot of the time, the "smoke cloud" from whatever collision you hit will appear at your feet, showing something is DEFINITELY off with the tail in these moments.
