Additional Notes & Comments:
This is a community-level report coordinated by Yuliia / magtraper. The community report has now reached 280+ collected responses, and new responses are still coming in. Reports were collected through a structured Google Form from Russian-speaking/CIS Dead by Daylight players. The main affected platforms are PC Steam and PlayStation 5. The main affected region is Russia/CIS, but some responses also come from other nearby regions. The same pattern appears across many different players, cities, accounts, platforms, and ISPs. This does not look like a single isolated account problem. Many players report that the issue started or became worse after recent updates, especially around patch 9.6.0 / 9.6.1 and the 2v8 / Attack on Titan update period. Players have already tried many troubleshooting steps without success, including: - restarting the game; - restarting PC/console; - restarting router/modem; - reinstalling Dead by Daylight; - verifying game files; - changing DNS; - checking Steam / PSN / Epic status; - wired connection; - clearing console cache; - updating Windows/console system; - VPN; - WARP; - GearUP; - Zapret; - proxy; - different Zapret versions and configurations. Some players report that the game only works through VPN, WARP, GearUP, Zapret, or other routing tools, often with very high or unstable ping. Other players report that even these workarounds no longer help.
