Steps to Reproduce
- Play as Survivor
- Use the perk Cross Examination
- Play against a Killer that can turn invisible or teleport, such as Jason
- Have the Killer turn invisible
- Trace their path while they are invisible. They should not be leaving Light Marks
- Despite the Killer not leaving Light Marks, you will still benefit from Cross Examination's Elusive status effect.
Explanation
The new Survivor Perk, Cross Examination, can still programmatically track Killer "Light Marks" while Killers are Invisible or Teleporting. Even though these Killers visually leave behind no Light Marks, the Survivors still benefit from Cross Examination's Elusive bonus if they trace the Killer's path and run over the places that Invisible/Teleporting killers move through. For example, if Jason is invisible, a Survivor running Cross-Examination will benefit from Elusive if they follow in his footsteps. I haven't tested this, but I'm willing to bet that the same thing would happen with Springtrap's door teleports, etc. This allows Survivors to track Stealth and Teleporting Killers, and allows them to benefit from a perk when they otherwise shouldn't be.
