Actual Result:
The targetting of the gen often fails, and I have to fiddle with the camera a lot to succeed in selecting the gen
Expected Result:
when using the search mode and looking at a gen to target it, it gets easily and immediately targeted, so I can immediately send the dog to it
Severity:
Minor
Reproducibility:
Frequently
Platform:
Steam
Additional Notes & Comments:
Around 18 months have passes with this problem. I'm sure all of us who play Houndmaster would greatly appreciate you fixing this issue <3 (No log files beause I can currently only play through Nvidia GeForce NOW (Steam))

Steps to Reproduce

  1. I load into a match as the Houndmaster
  2. during any time of the match, I use the search command and try to target a gen, so I can then send the dog to it
  3. A lot of the times I have too much difficulty aiming at the gen because it won't target it no matter what
  4. sometimes when it does target it, it loses the target right upon sending the dog

Explanation

Houndmaster's generator aiming has been broken since her release (since about 18 months ago). So many times when I (or any streamer I watch) try to aim at a gen (to send the dog), many times it won't snap to the gen. Sometimes I have to fiddle with the aim for too long, until it finally snaps to the gen.

Sometimes, even when it does snap onto a gen, and I click to send the dog, that very instant the aim unsnaps, and the dog is sent not directly to the gen. Sometimes the result is the dog being sent much closer to the Houndmaster (which is very far from the gen)

It is very frustrating and causes a lot of problems when playing Houndmaster. This broken snapping to the gen makes her unnecessarily difficult and frustrating to play.
