Survivor Animation Desync When Stunned During Ghoul's Kagune Leap

Status: Open
Priority:

Actual Result:
The pallet stun interrupts the attack, but the Survivor's animation state bugs out. The upper body gets locked into the Kagune struggle animation (arms moving around), and the legs lose their proper running animation cycle.
Expected Result:
The pallet stun should completely cancel the Kagune grab-attack, and the Survivor's animation state should cleanly reset back to their default idle/running animations.
Severity:
Minor
Reproducibility:
Sometimes
Platform:
Steam
Additional Notes & Comments:
This animation lock happens when a Killer Stun interrupts the Kagune grab at the exact frame it connects. I have attached a screenshot showing my Survivor stuck with their arms out immediately following a "Killer Stun" and "Pallet Drop" scoring event against The Ghoul.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Play as any Survivor in a Trial against The Ghoul.
  2. Enter a chase and stand at a dropped pallet, or camp an undropped pallet.
  3. Wait for The Ghoul to initiate his second Kagune Leap (the grab-attack) towards you.
  4. Drop the pallet to stun him at the exact millisecond his Kagune latches onto your character.
  5. If timed right, the stun will interrupt the grab. Observe the Survivor's character model as you run away.

Explanation

There is an animation desync/state bug with Survivors when interacting with The Ghoul's (Ken Kaneki) power. If a survivor drops a pallet and stuns The Ghoul at the exact moment his second Kagune Leap (grab-attack) connects with them, the grab is successfully canceled by the stun, but the Survivor's animation breaks. The Survivor's upper body becomes permanently stuck in the Kagune grab/struggle animation with their arms flailing around, while their lower body stops animating properly when running.
