Status: Open
Priority:

Actual Result:
The Survivor displays a relaxed, neutral facial expression (Healthy state animation) while opening the exit gate, despite their body language and health state being Injured.
Expected Result:
The Survivor's facial animation should dynamically reflect their health state, showing a pained, strained, or exhausted expression while forcing the heavy gate switch open while injured.
Severity:
Cosmetic
Reproducibility:
Always
Platform:
Steam
Additional Notes & Comments:
This appears to be an issue where the "Interaction" facial animation overrides the "Injured" facial state priority. I have attached a screenshot of injured Nancy Wheeler displaying a completely blank/nonchalant face while opening the gate.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Play as a Survivor.
  2. Load into a Trial and complete all generators to power the Exit Gates.
  3. Take a hit from the Killer to enter the Injured state.
  4. Approach an Exit Gate switch and hold the interact button to Open Escape.
  5. Pan the camera around to the front of the character's face during the interaction.

Explanation

There is a facial animation state bug when a Survivor is opening an Exit Gate. If a Survivor is in the "Injured" state while performing the "Open Escape" action, their face incorrectly defaults to the "Healthy" facial animation. Instead of looking pained or strained, the character's face appears completely neutral and nonchalant.
