Explanation
Greetings! Recently I’ve downloaded dbd on my laptop,when I entered the game it told me “game version invalid”.I kept looking on google for answers but I’ve noticed that many people are facing this issue.The game was downloaded from steam and I tried to uninstalled it but it said the same thing.Please solve this problem. Thanks!

I am just thinking this from you saying "pressing space" that you seem to clearly be using old version of the game as there is no prompt to press space anymore when launching the game as they removed that few patches ago to streamline the launch progress. So you should really make sure that you don't have some PTB version on or you are not downloading it from a server that some reason does not have current version of the game and that then is not behaviors fault as its Steam you are downloading it from.
