Steps to Reproduce

  1. Launch Dead by Daylight and select 'The Artist' from the Killer roster.
  2. Equip any perks or add-ons and enter a public match
  3. Play the match normally, actively using the 'Birds of Torment' power.
  4. Observe that after a few minutes of gameplay, the screen turns completely black and the PC freezes.
  5. Note that this exact crash happened 3 times in a row only with this Killer.

Explanation

Hello, I am experiencing a critical issue that completely crashes my system, but it only happens under very specific circumstances. Whenever I play a match as The Artist, my screen randomly turns pitch black mid-game, the system becomes completely unresponsive, and I am forced to do a hard manual restart of my PC.

This has happened 3 times in a row now while playing as this specific character. Surprisingly, this issue never occurs when I play as any other Killer or as a Survivor. The game runs flawlessly in those cases. The black screen and system freeze only trigger when I am actively in a trial playing as The Artist.
