Explanation

I’ve been trying to add my friends via DBD id, but I cannot find their users at all. I put their username, followed by the hashtag and their unique 4 letter code thing, and we’ve been trying for days but nothing seems to work. I tried restarting my game, checking if the game needs an update, and my friends did the same but nothings working! I’m not sure why, and if it’s something with the game or our personal consoles… but we’ve really tried everything. I play on PlayStation 5, my first friend is on PC and my other friend is on Nintendo Switch. I tried searching up answers too, but it’s either saying it’s a bug, a misspelling, or our personal consoles aren’t up to date. I really hope this can be resolved soon.
