Can’t leave spectator mode after I die or escape and spectate the match

On PS5 when i spectate it no longer gives me the option to leave and forces me to watch till the end

Platform-PS5. When spectating a match after dying, there is no longer an option to back out once you start spectating. You are stuck spectating until all players are dead.
