PC / Steam. RTX 3070. Since Patch 10.0.0 (also this patch 10.0.1) almost every match both monitors lose signal (Issue also reproduced with only one monitor connected. Disconnecting the secondary monitor before launching the game did not prevent the black screen.). Teamspeak keeps running and still able to talk for minutes. Audio loops. Being replaced by a bot according to others while nothing changes for me. Win+Ctrl+Shift+B only makes the sound but doesnt give picture back. ARK: Survival Ascended ran for 1 hour at 80°C and 30–35% GPU usage without issues. League of Legends runs for hours without issues. No relevant Windows-problems found. Tested: Reinstalled Dead by Daylight,Reset Saved folder, Disabled Steam Overlay Single-monitor setup. Latest NVIDIA driver clean install. Windows shows no WHEA, LiveKernelEvent or nvlddmkm errors. Steps to Reproduce
- Load into the game
- play for 5 to 10 minutes
- get a blackscreen with looping sound
- this happens with multiple actions (healing, running, getting chased, repairing, struggling on hook)
Explanation
Almost every match after playing for 5-10 minutes I get a "No Signal" on both monitors followed by an infinite black screen with looping Sound. Win + Ctrl + Shift + B only makes the sound but doesnt bring back the picture or even flicker. Im still able to talk through Teamspeak with my friends for minutes but cant see my cursor or do anything else like Alt + F4 or Ctrl + Alt + Del. I have to manually shut off the power of my PC, adding a longer and longer leaver penalty.
It doesnt matter what I do: heal, run, getting chased, repair, struggle on hook: the issue keeps happening no matter what.
This issue has been appearing starting on the 16th with the Jason Update, I didnt update my graphics driver that day (because NVIDIA Game Ready also had one that day).
