Steps to Reproduce
- As a killer, wait for the survivor to eat a morsel and gain invisibility.
- The survivor’s body will be invisible, but you’ll still see their shadow.
- As a survivor against Jason, when he is in Omnipresent mode, look around the ground.
- Jason’s shadow will still be visible (similar to Henry on the Upside Down) even when he’s in Omnipresent mode, allowing you to know precisely where he is.
Explanation
I moved from PC to the Switch 2 right before Jason’s release and I found it weird I could see his shadow as a survivor when he was invisible, similar to when Henry is traveling through the upside down. Since I hadn’t seen much PC gameplay from the survivors’ POV I thought this was intended.
But with the Black Banquet I noticed survivors also keep their shadows when invisible, allowing me to keep chasing them as killer, and it wasn’t until I saw streamers playing the mode that I realized survivors are completely untrackable while invisible.
