Explanation

Hey, I'm having a bug in Dead by Daylight where my camera is locked to 180 degrees and I can't turn around fully. Happens immediately at the start of every match, both as killer and survivor, and also in custom/practice matches.

Setup:

Pop!_OS (Linux)

Steam (debian installation path: ~/.steam/debian-installation/)

Logitech mouse, no extra software

When it happened:

Worked fine in the morning

After Vulkan shader compilation ran during startup (I let it complete), the bug appeared and hasn't gone away since

What I've already tried:

Disabled Steam Input for DBD

Fullscreen mode

Deleted GameUserSettings.ini

Deleted shader cache (~/.steam/debian-installation/steamapps/shadercache/381210)

Deleted Proton prefix (~/.steam/debian-installation/steamapps/compatdata/381210)

Launch options: PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 %command%

Tried -dx11 (game wouldn't start)

Tried Proton 9.0-4, Proton 11, Proton Hotfix, Proton Experimental

DBD log file is binary/unreadable
