Actual Result:
Ending Slice and Dice dash on any diagonal surface makes the Killer lose momentum, the game registering it as the Killer hitting an object/invisible wall
Expected Result:
Diagonal surfaces shouldn't block the Slice & Dash lunge momentum
Severity:
Major
Reproducibility:
Frequently
Platform:
Steam

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Access PTB/Live Release Main Menu
  2. Click Play tab in Main Menu -> Click Killer or Custom match button -> Select Killer "The Good Guy"
  3. Enter a match
  4. nter "Hidey-Ho Mode" as Good Guy, by pressing the Secondary Power Button
  5. Initiate a Slice & Dice dash at a distance that will allow the dash to end (subsequently, the lunge to start) on any diagonal surface (e.g. hill, stairs, etc.)

Explanation

When using Slice & Dice, normally there's some retained momentum at the dash's end when Chucky lunges, during which you can hit a Survivor. If Chucky ends the dash on any diagonal elevation (like stairs, hills, etc.), he loses momentum, as if hitting an object. This impedes a lot of chases and is quite major, as survivors can either gain a lot of distance when this happens, thus hindering game progression for The Good Guy player.
This currently can be reproduced on both 9.4.0 PTB and Live Release current version, as the bug is very old for The Good Guy
