Status: Open
Priority:
High
Added by: Anonymous on October 15, '26

Due date:
Reported for:
Actual Result:
Multiple Haunted by Daylight items are priced at Rare or Very Rare Bloodweb prices, despite still having the stats of Uncommon items and formerly being priced at Common prices across the board in prior years.
Expected Result:
All Haunted by Daylight items should have Bloodweb prices of Common items, as they have in previous years, or at the very least be priced the same as the rarity of the items they share the stats of.
Severity:
Major
Reproducibility:
Always
Platform:
Steam
Additional Notes & Comments:
This was a similar problem with the Black Banquet Med-kit and Flashlight items, though there is no Haunted by Daylight toolbox item to compare.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open the Bloodweb on a Survivor character.
  2. Look at the prices of Haunted by Daylight Event items.
  3. Compare their stats and Bloodpoint prices to items of other rarities in the Bloodweb.

Explanation

Haunted by Daylight items are currently priced at the incorrect Rarity in the Bloodweb. The All Hallow' Eve Lunchbox, which used to cost 2,000 BP in the Bloodweb, now costs 3,250 BP, the cost of a Rare rarity item, but still has the stats of the Uncommon First Aid Kit base item. Similarly, the Will O' Wisp flashlight item now also costs 3,250 BP despite costing 2,000 BP in previous years, and still maintains the stats of an Uncommon Flashlight item. Meanwhile, Arcane Dowsing Rods, which only provides 100% bonus to the Score Events specific to Haunted by Daylight, now cost 4,000 BP in the Bloodweb, the cost of a Very Rare item, despite the fact that they are also Personal, while the shared and stack-able normal B***** Party Streamers are a Rare item, and therefore only cost 3,250 BP in the Bloodweb, while also multiplying ALL Score Events by 100%. In addition to this, the Automatic Unlock system still treats Arcane Dowsing Rods like Perks, and attempts to purchase them if possible before purchasing anything else, even cheaper items that are closer to the central node.
