Steps to Reproduce

  1. Play as The Hillbilly in the Haunted by Daylight event.
  2. Activate the chainsaw sprint and move through apparently open space toward a Survivor.
  3. Occasionally, the chainsaw collides with an invisible object despite there being no visible obstacle nearby.
  4. The usual collision sound plays, and the chainsaw sprint is interrupted.

Explanation

Since the release of the Haunted by Daylight event on October 13, 2026, I have been experiencing a serious collision bug while playing as The Hillbilly.

During a chainsaw sprint, I sometimes collide with an invisible object in completely open space, even though there are no visible obstacles nearby. The game plays the usual collision sound, as if the chainsaw had hit a wall or another solid object, and the chainsaw sprint is interrupted.

The most frustrating part is that this frequently happens just before I reach a Survivor, completely ruining the attack and potentially costing me the chase.

This issue has occurred on different maps, at random locations. Before the event, I had not experienced this problem. Since the event started, it has happened in 3 out of 5 matches, making it difficult to play The Hillbilly consistently.

Unfortunately, I do not have a video recording of the issue, but I wanted to report it because it appears to be a recurring and potentially game-breaking bug.
