Steps to Reproduce
- Launch Dead by Daylight after the Halloween update.
- Sit AFK in the main menu lobby for 3-5 minutes, OR play 1-2 matches.
- Observe memory/VRAM usage stacking up and FPS dropping heavily to 1-5 FPS slideshow.
- Issue persists even with all background/clipping apps (Medal.tv) and overlays disabled, and with Engine.ini streaming tweaks applied.
Explanation
Severe cumulative VRAM/memory leak after the Halloween event update causing massive 1-5 FPS drops, even while AFK in the main menu lobby or during the 2nd match in a session. Video proof attached showing the exact frame drops and stuttering during actual gameplay.
