The fog effect remains on screen continuously, and game audio stays heavily muffled for the remainder of the match. This significantly reduces visibility and makes it difficult to hear gameplay audio cues.
|
| Expected Result: |
The fog and audio muffling should disappear when the item’s temporary effect ends, restoring normal visibility and audio.

Platform: PC — Steam. Game version: 10.2.1. Character: Jane Romero. Map: Trickster’s Delusion. I do not know the exact conditions required to reproduce this issue. Once it started, both the visual effect and the muffled audio persisted continuously for the remainder of the match. I have attached a screenshot showing the persistent fog effect.

Steps to Reproduce
- 1. Play as Jane Romero during the Halloween event on the Trickster’s Delusion map. 2. Use the event smoke bomb item. 3. Observe that the fog effect and muffled audio persist for the remainder of the match. The exact conditions that trigger this issue are unknown.
Explanation
Halloween event — Persistent fog and muffled audio after using a smoke bomb
While playing as Jane Romero during the Halloween event, I experienced a persistent visual and audio issue after using the event smoke bomb item.
The fog effect remained on my screen continuously instead of disappearing after its normal duration. At the same time, the game audio became heavily muffled, to the point where I could barely hear what was happening around me.
Both effects persisted for the remainder of the match. This significantly affected gameplay: the fog reduced my visibility, and the muffled audio made it difficult to hear important gameplay cues and react to my surroundings.
